The San Mateo County beaches have fickle weather. Half Moon Bay can be completely socked in, yet just 10 miles down the coast can be perfect. So it was with Miramar on MLK day. It seemed to be the only sunny beach between HMB and Pacifica, but what a glorious day it turned out to be.
